Bio
Cody Lee is a writer and storyteller based in North Carolina. Born and raised in a log cabin in the hill country of Texas, he spent his formative years in the city of Austin. He earned his MFA in Creative Writing from UNC-Greensboro where he served as editor of The Greensboro Review. His fiction is featured in Witness, Hunger Mountain Review, Apalachee Review, as well as others.
Cody writes about the mystery of everydayness, our relationship with animals and nature, and the absurdity of simply trying to be human. He has run the gamut of things you can do with an English Degree (teacher, librarian, bookseller, copywriter) but currently works as a Creative Strategist helping companies infuse meaning and humanity into their brands. When not writing, he can be found on the running trails or haunting the nearest used bookstore.
