Village Juice & Kitchen

Village Juice & Kitchen exists to make healthy eating taste as good as it feels. What started as a one-juicer operation selling cold-pressed juices from a truck became a local sensation. After expanding their menu and finding even more success locally, Village Juice & Kitchen made the bold and exciting decision to begin franchising.

Glowing Up for a Statewide Takeover

Elevating Village Juice & Kitchen from a one-location shop to a statewide franchise required a set of formalized brand codes. This included an updated mission, vision, and core values as well as full codified brand guide to hand off to franchise owners. The work included extensive copy writing at almost every level from internal brand copy like core values, employee manuals, and franchise documents, to external branded items like in-store signage and menus.

The Franchise Recruitment Book

Developing a franchise recruitment book first required codifying the new brand codes and then pitching Village Juice & Kitchen’s brand, business model, and leadership all while detailing the ins-and-outs of running a health-conscious casual restaurant. It was one of the most unique challenges I’ve experienced as a copywriter and strategist and the final product is one I’m most proud of.

Today, Village Juice & Kitchen has opened franchise locations in Raleigh, Charlotte, and Winston-Salem. They’ve even opened stores on college campuses across North Carolina and elsewhere.
