The Piedmont Opera

Betrayal. Beheadings. Scandal. The Piedmont Opera’s showing of Mary Queen of Scotts brings its own buzz. This 30-second animated spot brought significant attention to the showing by leaning into the opera’s legacy as one of the most scandalous shows in the repertoire, while taking a little inspiration from Monty Python. I helped developed the concept then wrote the script and storyboard…and voiced a few of the characters. The team at Common Giant produced the animation.
